MBE OBE, Chairman, Smt. Jawala Devi Memorial Trust, Sanghol & Lord Rana Foundation Trust (UK)

Member of the House of Lords, UK, and Member of British Empire, Lord Diljit Rana was born at Sanghol (Punjab). Lord Rana has also been bestowed with the title Baron of Malone and Honorary Doctorate by the Ulster and Queen's University, Belfast for his distinguished contribution to the economic regeneration of Belfast, Northern Ireland, and his philanthropic and visionary attributes. The Government of India conferred upon him the Bharatiya Pravasi Samman Award in 2007 and appointed him The Honorary Consul of India to Northern Ireland.
